about

We're strapping ourselves into the disco rocket & blasting off into the DMT cosmos with commander James Bright and his debut drop on Sprechen.
'These Machines' sees the studio wizard knock out a hat trick of yessmates for us which will demand you jerk your shoulders & look about for some lasers to reach for.

The title track snaps & cracks with some corking jacking percussion & stuttered drum hits before trippy pads & synths swirl in & out with a hooky as heck bass line surrounded by infectious synth stabs that truly mark this one as certified 'Mutant Disco'.

Vibration goes a touch deeper and jumps right into the warm up section of your Rekordbox playlist whilst still retaining an element of 'balearic-ness' about it. Lovely warm piano chords and smooth synths lead the way on this perfect mood setter.

Hot Metropolis ramps up the wonky factor to 11 with a rubber band bass line that jacks like heck and guitar strums that added some serious soul. Pack in plenty of spaced out synths, pads & squelches and this finishes off this E.P. in serious style.

All hail James Bright!

Danielle Moore: "Great EP! Really energetic with a nice blend of pump n squelch. really nice. Yes thank you"

Black Hawks Of Panama: "Hancock with Patrick Bateman providing the 80s dance moves, it's a chugger!"

Alice Palace: "Quality from James as always... can see These Machines getting a lot of plays over the summer"

Dicky Trisco: "Really like that nagging funk synth feel on Vibration. Lovely"

Trevor Fung: "Really liking this...Lovely"
